We understand that the process of renting a property can be daunting or is a new experience for many people and so we have tried to provide a flowchart of the usual process to keep things as simple and as straight forward as possible:-


Select a property online/in office/or over the telephone that you are interested in. View all our currently available properties here


Arrange an appointment at a a time convenient to you to view the property or properties you are interested in. We request a contact number from you at the time of making an appointment  to enable us to contact you on the day to confirm. Once you have viewed a property you like you need to make an application. You can complete our online application here or download our application form here. We require one application per person wishing to apply.  Once we receive your completed application form and fee this will enable you go through the full process.


To complete your application we will require some additional supporting information. This will typically consist of Personal Identification, Address Verification, Proof of Income/Benefits, References and a clear credit reference search. (Your application fee covers the cost of us obtaining all this). In certain circumstances we may need further information but we will let you know if this is necessary.


Assuming you provide us with all the information we require the application process should only take a few days to complete and assuming you pass we will be able to confirm the property is yours. We would then arrange another meeting with yourself to complete the tenancy agreements and any other supporting documents we need signing.


When we meet to complete the final paperwork and agree a moving in date we require the deposit paying in full. The appointment can be at our offices or if you would like another viewing of the property to measure up etc then it can be carried out at the property.


Yours almost there........  Now the paperwork side of things is largely completed we will agree a suitable time to meet with you on the day your contract is due to start (moving day). In some circumstances we can release keys slightly earlier dependant on the property. We will meet you on the day and complete an ingoing Inventory which you will need to sign. Take initial meter readings and provide you with all the relevant certificates relating to the tenancy and the property.  You pay the rent in advance and take possession of the keys to your new home.


Rent is usually payable calendar monthly to coincide with the same calendar date that you moved into the property. We will arrange standing order documents with you for this. Once you have settled in we will visit you again in the property around a month after you have moved in to ensure everything is fine with the property.
